Weekly Update

Hello Parents,

In math this week we learned how to identify equivalent fractions using bar models and number lines. Students were able to determine many equal fractions using these models. Students completed an assessment finding equivalent fractions with number lines.

In science this week students we reviewed the regions of Georgia and the plants and animals who live in each one. Students will have a quiz over those tomorrow. Study guides went home on Wednesday. Please encourage your child to study tonight.

In language arts we did many fun activities with Dr. Suess. We read the Lorax and students wrote opinion paragraphs on if they believe he should in fact speak for the tress.

March 11 – Early Release Day – Students excused at 12:20.

March 13 – CFA biscuit sales in the AM car line… $3

March 24 – Spring Picture Day

March 25 – Spirit Night at Sky Zone

March 30 – April 3 Book Fair in the Media Center.
